Fun in Spanish is a Spanish Immersion program for youth ages 4 to 8. It is held every Thursday, from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. at the Pescadero Community Church/Social Hall.

Research shows that “learning a second language at an early age has a positive effect on intellectual growth and leaves students with more flexibility in thinking, greater sensitivity to language, and improved listening skills.” http://www.pbs.org/teachers/earlychildhood/articles/language.html

This is a fun way for youth to be comfortable listening to and speaking in Spanish. We play games, sing, dance, read Spanish stories/books, make arts and crafts, and much more. Children acquire the Spanish language and enjoy the learning experience when it is interactive and entertaining. There is no other way to have FUN in Spanish!
