One of the main attractions at the annual Pescadero Arts and Fun Festival is the SCCS Fashion Show. All clothing and accessories modeled in the show are items that were donated to the SCCS Pescadero Thrift Shop. The last three years we received donations for some of the items that were modeled. All proceeds benefited South Coast Children’s Services.

For many years this show was planned and organized by a wonderful volunteer, Kate Cox. In 2010, she thought it would be a good idea to have SCCS youth plan the show! Starting this last summer, we had a group of young high school students plan and organize everything from the theme to the music! It was a great success!

This year’s show was a success. The emcees were both youth from Pescadero. One had just graduated from Pescadero High School and the other is a senior. They did a great job. Many people volunteered to model in the show, from 4 years old to grandparents!
