About Us
SCCS was founded in 1977 for the purpose of providing additional educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities for the children who live on the South Coast of San Mateo County. It is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations received by SCCS are tax-deductible. The fiscal year is July 1st through June 30th.
SCCS is governed by a Board of Directors, consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and a maximum of eleven (11) additional board members. Meetings are held monthly.
